Stuck for Words? Try ‘Shift+F7”

Here is a handy little tip when using Microsoft Word. When you are typing in Word and you want to know what a word means or want to look up a better word to use, press SHIFT+F7 and the Dictionary or Thesaurus will appear on the right side of the page. This section is called the Research Task Pane. If you can’t find the word you are looking for, look down at the bottom of the window where it says Other places to search. This will provide you with several other sources such as the dictionary and thesaurus.
